Almost everyone loves a good summer song, but what about winter songs?
Poor old much maligned winter is the Rodney Dangerfield of the seasons…
It just don’t get no respect!
So…
Let’s all sing a SONG FOR A WINTER’S NIGHT with Gord or play some HOCKEY with Jane. Neil says there’s no need to feel HELPLESS unless you’re FROZEN IN FROBISHER BAY or Jame’s Bay.
Simon says “IT’S A HAZY SHADE OF WINTER” so open up your COLD, COLD HEART like OL’ Hank and come out and play some Dylan with this GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY.
But…
For Heaven’s sake… unless you wanna be zappa’d good… please
DON’T EAT THE YELLOW SNOW.
Format: Open mike unplugged. Cost: free will donation
If you are free on Friday, please join us. Tell your friends and family.
The space is cozy, the coffee is great and the fun is contagious!
Yours in folk,
